RouteBuddy Safety Guidelines

Last updated: 25 April 2026. These guidelines apply to RouteBuddy commute matching on NagarPulse. They supplement our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Safety Policy.

Using RouteBuddy safely

RouteBuddy is community coordination for daily commutes between verified users. It is not a licensed ride-hailing or public transport service. When participating, you agree to:

  • Complete institute or workplace email verification and obtain organisation approval before browsing or requesting rides.
  • You may match with users from other approved organisations; both parties must remain verified.
  • Meet in public, well-lit locations. Do not share your exact home address in chat.
  • Agree fares in advance for transparency; payment is arranged directly between users (cash, bKash, Nagad, Rocket, etc.). NagarPulse does not process payments or guarantee fares.
  • Use block and report tools if another user behaves inappropriately.
  • Make your own judgment about whether a ride arrangement is safe; NagarPulse does not vet individuals beyond organisation verification.

Payments

All ride payments occur offline between users. NagarPulse is not responsible for payment disputes, refunds, or fraud related to fare arrangements.
